Ipad 2 Apps: Skyfire Web browser Review Skyfire for the iPad made headlines when it was first released, due to its ability to play Flash videos on a device previously void of this popular technology. There are so many shortcomings in this app. While it's a decent start, I guess, for TWC customers it definitely is behind the times as far as what I can do already with DISH Network. And, on top of the limited channels (I'd rather watch my locals on my phone or iPad), it doesn't have key features such as remote DVR scheduling. I'd have to give up way to much. As a DISH customer/employee, I have the ability to watch ALL of my live TV and DVR recordings on the go, without any kind of restrictions like that. And I have a lot of options as far as controlling my actual DVR. If you're looking for something like what TWC has (but much better, and for a cheaper price) then check out DISH. You won't regret it.
